Realist?
Realist
Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

PR Executive Graduate Testimonial

Ciana Moulton PR Executive for Cleverbug "I believe that the MSc in Event Management gave me the opportunity to gain vast experience in the events sector.

It taught me skills in areas such as corporate communications, Digital-Media, and SEO, which allowed me to grow my career beyond just events and apply them in a business setting. During my MSc year, I interned with Cultural Events Company Happenings which I think was a crucial element of my success in the program.

I joined CleverBug as a member of the Events team, was then promoted to Events team lead and eventually Head of PR, In this role I oversee all PR and Event activities. Event Management will teach a person how to handle high-pressure situations, and you'll meet people from all different walks of life.

I firmly believe I would not have the success I do today if I had not made the crazy decision to walk away from my comfortable job in Microsoft Ireland and return to education....it gave me the skills and work ethic that are required to succeed. Looking back now, I wouldn't swap that experience for the world. As it has formed the foundations on which I have built my career. A Masters opens doors that you never imagined existed."
