Aim and Overview
The aim of the Bootcamp is to develop student’s entrepreneurial mind-set and capacity to be innovative and creative problem solvers and generate qualities such as personal responsibility, leadership, risk taking, a sense of initiative, self-confidence, and team spirit. Students will engage in idea generation, design thinking and obtain hands on experience of applying learning in a practical real world environment using business, science, engineering and sports challenges. This five-day camp is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain valuable practical experiences of exploring new commercial ideas in a friendly, supportive and enjoyable environment.
Who is this for?
Transition year students who are enthusiastic motivated and want to learn more about creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation. Participants do not have to be currently studying business related disciplines.
Duration and Costs:
The Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation Camp will be held on campus at University of Limerick, 22nd – 26th October 2018, from 9:30am to 4:30 pm.
The cost is €50 per participant OR FREE for students from DEIS schools.
