UCC’s Disability Support Service delivers an Assistive Technology (AT) Outreach programme to promote awareness and use of assistive technology for students with disabilities in secondary schools, their parents and their educators. The aim of the programme is to enhance access and transition to Higher Education for students with disabilities who are currently underrepresented at third level.
Training in AT is provided in UCC and in secondary schools in the UCC catchment area. To increase the reach of the programme there is a video gallery on AT and related subjects available on our website. Students, parents and educators from further afield can access training via our range of webinars. Further information can be found at www.ucc.ie/en/dss/atoutreach
