The professionally trained Guidance Counsellor works in conjunction with school staff members to address the guidance needs of students at all levels within the school. The Guidance Counsellor meets first year students in groups and/or individually during the school year as part of their induction into St. Paul’s Secondary School.

Career Guidance is timetabled weekly for all senior cycle students. During their time in the school the senior students meet in groups and/or individually with the Guidance Counsellor to look at career options, opportunities, educational routes as part of their overall career planning. website is a useful resource for school leavers and provides relevant, up-to-date information to assist students when they are making career decisions. 

We use the Reach+ Career & College Preparation Programme on the website in St. Paul's Secondary School. Registered students can use above Student Login option (top right hand corner).
