Ireland’s first group of insurance apprenticeship graduates will be conferred tomorrow at IT Sligo.
The Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship is the first of its kind in Ireland and is the only active apprenticeship to award a QQI Level 8 Honours Degree.
Each apprentice gains their qualification over a three-year period and a programme that combines traditional classroom learning with on-the-job practical experience working in the insurance sector.
The programme allows apprentices to specialize in a core area of the insurance industry such as underwriting, claims or direct client advice.
