International life sciences company Eurofins officially opened its new Global Software Engineering Centre in South Dublin.
Their new premises, located in Leopardstown’s South County Business Park, was established to accommodate their growing workforce after announcing earlier this year their plan to provide 150 new high-tech jobs in the new Dublin site.
The firm hope to have 60 of these vacancies filled by the end of 2019 as they look to further their recruitment drive in 2020.
Eurofins was first established in Ireland in 2003 and currently employs 800 people in Ireland across laboratories in Dublin, Waterford and Cork, in the area of clinical diagnostics, biopharma product testing, food and beverage testing as well as environmental testing, and corporate functions based in Dublin.
The growing IT team in Dublin is focusing on DevOps, virtualisation and cloud strategy, driving quality and software engineering best practice as part of the 1,500-strong Eurofins global software development teams in the US, Europe and India.
