Realist

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Greenfield Global Inc. to Create 75 Jobs at New European Headquarters
Canadian company Greenfield Global Inc. is to create 75 jobs in Portlaoise, where it's new European headquarters will be situated. The company is one of the largest alcohol and solvents companies in North America and the Portlaoise centre will serve as a base for its expanding European operations.

The new roles will range across a number of areas, including production, quality, supply chain, and sales. These roles will be based at the new 3,800 sq. metre headquarters, which will be built at the IDA Business and Technology Park. The construction of the premises is set to create a further 100 jobs and the headquarters will likely be operational from early 2020.

The annoucement was met with enthusiasm by Minster for Justice Charlie Flanagan, and IDA Ireland CEO Martin Shanahan. Both are confident that the company will have an very positive impact on the Portlaoise and greater Midlands economy.
