A common misconception about a career in tax is that it is just about numbers, however, tax law has a strong basis in legislation and case law. Therefore, it is really suitable for graduates from a legal background, or for qualified solicitors and barristers.

Social?
Social
The Social person's interests focus on some aspect of those people in their environment. In all cases the social person enjoys the personal contact of other people in preference to the impersonal dealings with things, data and ideas found in other groups.

Many will seek out positions where there is direct contact with the public in some advisory role, whether a receptionist or a counsellor. Social people are motivated by an interest in different types of people, and like diversity in their work environments. Many are drawn towards careers in the caring professions and social welfare area, whilst others prefer teaching and other 'informing' roles.

Lidl is to create 100 jobs in Co Kildare after planning permission was recently granted to build a new distribution centre in Newbridge.

The new 54,000sqm regional distribution centre will be situated on the Naas Road and will employ 350 staff, an increase of 100 on the 250 who are employed at Lidl's current distribution centre in the town.

The development includes the construction of a significant stretch of new public road, which will form the first part of the Newbridge bypass. The company is in the process of tendering both the road infrastructure work and the distribution facility and plans to begin construction in April of this year.

It was in 2000 when Lidl burst onto the Irish grocery market and changed the face of shopping in Ireland.Since then, they have opened more 190 stores across the island of Ireland.
