Realist

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

The Construction Industry Federation are celebrating Women in Construction with their Breakfast Event

CIF are Building Equality this International Women's Day
The Construction Industry Federation are holding a conference to celebrate Women in Construction this International Women's Day on Friday March 8th, 2019. 

The sold-out event celebrates the achievements of women in the construction industry, while providing a forum to discuss issues facing women in the sector. Women make up just 6% of those working in construction in Ireland, and CIF have a strong commitment to increasing the number of women in the sector. 

Th event will feature key speakers who will address the low levels of women currently working in the construction industry, with discussion on how we can counteract this. Speakers include Pat Lucey, CIF President/John Sisk & Son, Lorraine BradyDesign Manager at BAM Ireland, and Nellie ReidManaging Director of Meehan Green.

This breakfast event will be CIF's 3rd such International Women's Day event, and links in with their #BuildingEquality campaign. The campaign encourages female participation in the construction industry and highlights CIF's commitment to have #BalanceforBetter in their workforce.
