Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

The engineering services and solutions company will create 80 jobs in Cork by the end of this year, with plans for a further 100 role by the end of 2021.

Crest Solutions to create 80 jobs in Cork in 2019

Engineering services and Solutions firm, Crest Solutions has announced that it will create 80 new jobs by the end of 2019. The annoucement came as Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys TD opened the company's new Customer Innovation Centre at Little Island, Co. Cork.

The company has seen impressive growth over the last few years, starting with just 20 employees in 2011, while the current workforce totals 135. Throughout the remainder of the year, the company will be recruiting for engineers, project managers, analysts, and technicians, with potential to create 100 more jobs by the end of 2021.

Crest Solutions in now among the top engineering services partners to Life Sciences companies in Northern Europe. Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation praised the company's "phenomenal growth" over the last few years and labelled the company's job creation in Cork as "a fantastic boost for the region." Crest Solutions CEO, Frank Madden emphasised the importance of Enterprise Ireland's support in the company's success. Kevin Sherry, Executive Director, Global Business Development, Enterprise Ireland applauded the company for its "substantial achievements" and said that he looks forward to working with Crest Solutions in the future.
