ŠKODA is currently recruiting apprentices for its Motor Technician Apprenticeship programme. The car manufacturer is seeking flexible team players, with positive attitudes and strong work ethics. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with one of the top selling car brands in Ireland, which also happens to be one of the oldest carmakers in the world. Those who are accepted into the programme will be placed in the closest ŠKODA dealership to them that has a vacancy available.
The "earn and learn" programme consists of both on-the-job and off-the-job training. The programme alternates between full-time work and block periods of 10 or 20 weeks in the training institution. The motor technician programme itself last for 4 years and, upon successful completion, apprentices are awarded a Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Motor Mechanics.
