Naturalist

Not surprisingly, some aspect of the natural sciences will run through the Naturalist's interests - from ecological awareness to nutrition and health. People with an interest in horticulture, land usage and farming (including fish) are Naturalists.

Some Naturalists focus on animals rather than plants, and may enjoy working with, training, caring for, or simply herding them. Other Naturalists will prefer working with the end result of nature's produce - the food produced from plants and animals. Naturalists like solving problems with solutions that show some sensitivity to the environmental impact of what they do. They like to see practical results and prefer action to talking and discussing.

ActiveCampaign expects to create 200 jobs at new Dublin office

Marketing software company expects to hire 200 employees at new European HQ

ActiveCampaign expects to create 200 jobs at new Dublin office

ActiveCampaign, a Software as a Service (SaaS) marketing company from Chicago, has announced that it expects to create up to 200 jobs at its new European headquarters in Dublin. The announcement comes as the business aims to expand its European operations. With a rapidly increasing customer base in Europe, the company will use the Dublin office as hub from which it will explore business opportunities in promising European markets, including the U.K., Irish, French, Spanish, Italian, and German markets.

As part of its recruitment efforts, ActiveCampaign will focus on attracting candidates with language skills. The goal is to hire staff who can support customers in their native language. Additionally, the multilingual staff will prove valuable in launching localised campaigns in foreign markets. For the initial stages of recruitment ActiveCampaign is looking to hire for support, sales, customer success, and marketing.

Jason Vandeboom, Founder and CEO of ActiveCampaign, said that the best way to grow the company within Europe was to do so locally. He attributed the company's decision to open its European HQ in Ireland to "Dublin's tech talent and tech ecosystem". Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection, Pat Breen TD, congratulated ActiveCampaign on their new European HQ and welcomed the prospect 200 new jobs. He said that the company's decision to set up in Ireland will add to Ireland's status as "a global hub for high-tech innocative companies."

ActiveCampaign is supported by the Government through IDA Ireland. Mary Buckley, Executive Director IDA Ireland, echoed Vandeboom's statement, alluding to the talented workforce available in Ireland and noted the ease with which companies can expand in the country. Buckley reaffirmed IDA Ireland's support for ActiveCampaign and sees an "exciting time" ahead for the company.
