Financial Giants Announce 50 New Jobs for Cashel

DMS Governance have announced that they have substantially increased its new Cashel based workforce by creating 50 additional roles. DMS announced these new opportunities as it opened its new Tipperary based premises today after initially creating 50 jobs following their acquisition of Aviation Corporate Services on June of 2018.

The 50 newly-created roles are for highly-skilled financial service professionals and qualified accountants and positions are currently open to suitable candidates. These positions include accountants, financial administrators and anti money laundering associates.

DMS Governance is the worldwide leader in fund governance, risk and compliance and represent leading investment funds and managers. This announcement, coupled with their recent Dublin expansion, will bring their commitment to Irish based headcount to over 200 between the two locations. The project is being supported by the Irish government through IDA Ireland.

Speaking at today's launch in Cashel, Minister for Business Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys TD said “I am delighted to be here today with the DMS Governance team to celebrate the opening of its new office and to announce that another 50 highly-skilled financial service positions will be coming to Cashel. This once again highlights the Government’s success in ensuring we have the conditions necessary to encourage ongoing job creation in the regions. I would like to congratulate DMS Governance, thank them for this investment in Tipperary and wish them the very best for the future.”

DMS Chief Operating Officer Derek Delaney also stated that the high quality workforce available to them has been a key factor in the company's expansion adding "our assurance in this new DMS location has been validated and we are now placing several global centres of excellence in the new Cashel office".

The creation of these new financial service jobs in the Tipperary town fits in to the Government's IFS2020 Strategy which is committed to delivering 30% of Ireland's International Financial Service jobs to be based outside of Dublin.
