Realist

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Eucon seeking Logistics Associate Apprentice

The Role
Eucon, a transport and shipping company part of Ireland's largest shipping company (ICG), is seeking a Logistics Associate Apprentice for its Tivoli Terminal office in Co. Cork. The position is available for an immediate start and, as part of the "earn and learn" structure, the apprentice's time will be split between on-the-job training with Eucon and off-the-job training at Cork Institute of Technology. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the candidate will be awarded a QQI Level 6 Higher Cerficiate in Logistics award.

What is the Logistics Associate Apprenticeship?
The Logistics Associate Apprenticeship involves acquiring the knowledge, skills and competencies to carry out the core tasks/responsibilities within the warehousing, freight forwarding, transport and logistics sector in order to support business needs and develop skills to prepare for future career opportunities.

It involves four days per week on-the-job, and one day per week off-the-job in college.
