What are your interests?



Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Wish you had a strong career in Financial Services? Want to gain a qualification while also working and earning money? 

Applications are now open for the International Financial Services Apprenticeship Programme, which is designed for candidates who are eager to launch their career within the financial services industry.

The programme, led by Financial Services Ireland, consists of two different apprenticeship options; The IFS Associate and the IFS Specialist

Through a combination of off-the-job and on-the-job learning, apprentices will develop skills that are key to working in International Financial Services. The IFS Apprenticeship off-the-job learning takes place in National College of Ireland. Find out more here

IFS Associate

The IFS Associate level apprentice will study for a Level 6 Higher Certificate in International Financial services whilst earning a salary of €23K and undertake a two year apprenticeship contract in an IFS organisation in a relevant role.

IFS Specialist 

The IFS Specialist programme is a 2-year apprenticeship aimed at graduates or mature applicants who wish to follow a career in financial services. Apprentices will study a Level 8 Higher Diploma in Financial Services Analytics whilst earning a salary of €32K, with a two-year fixed term contract in an IFS organisation in a relevant role.
