Software development company LogMeIn is to create 200 jobs in Dublin as it expands its European operations. The Boston-based company is setting up its new international headquarters in the Reflector building at Grand Canal Dock. The company, which currently employs 180 people in the country, is set to more than double its workforce within Ireland.
LogMeIn specialises in providing software as a service (SaaS) to small and medium sized businesses and helps these companies gain a better insight into their engagement with their customers. The company boasts an impressive “two million daily users, 200 million customer engagements and five billion voice minutes per year”. It has seen rapid growth since it first set up in Ireland in 2012 and the company intends to fill the 200 new roles over the next three to five years.
LogMeIn will be recruiting across a range of different areas. The new roles will include opportunities in sales, marketing, legal, HR, IT and will include managerial positions in customer success.
Martin Shanahan, CEO of IDA Ireland, has welcomed the company's decision to expand within Ireland and sees it as a testament to the confidence the company has in Dublin as a centre of technology.
