Administrative
Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their best operating under supervisors who give clear guidelines, and performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.

They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.

CANCELLED - Cork and Monaghan Training Sessions

Due to hurricane Ophelia and the travel warnings currently in place

The following CareersPortal and REACH+ Career & College Preparation Progrmme Training Sessions and presentations scheduled to take place, Monday 16th October 2017 and Tuesday 17th October have now been been cancelled due hurricane Ophelia and the travel warnings in place:

  • Coláiste Muire, Bishop's St. Cobh Co. Cork - Monday 16th October
  • Cork Options Careers Fair, Rochestown Park, Cork Monday, 17th & 18th October 

Apologies to all of you who were booked to attend. We will be in contact again when alterntive events are organised. 

  • Branch Presentation, IGC North East Branch, Shirley Arms Hotel: Carrickmacross Tuesday, 17th October 2.30 - 4.30pm - this event will now take place next Tuesday, 24th October 2.30-4.30pm in the same venue
