They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.

Minister Joe McHugh meets with Employers from The Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship

The 2019 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship is open for applications, with over 100 places available nationwide on the degree level 'earn and learn' programme. The Minister for Education and Skills, Joe McHugh is a strong advocate for the apprenticeship, and he recently met with Dermot Murray, CEO, The Insurance Institute, as well as some of the key insurance employers who have been involved in the programme since the beginning. Minister McHugh spoke with the group to learn more about the innovative programme and its success to date.
