Applications now open for new Auctioneering and Property Services Apprenticeship

Ballsbridge College are currently full for this year but are still accepting applications to go on a waiting list.


Ballsbridge College of Further Education and Cork College of Commerce have announced that they are now taking applications for Auctioneering and Property Services Apprentices.

This new apprenticeship opportunity is a two-year government-supported programme leads to a Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Property Services, and allows apprentices to hit the ground running early in their career. 

Ultimately, apprentices develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary for a successful career in estate agency, property management, auctioneering and property letting.

This programme would suit a wide range of people, including school leavers, graduates or career changers.

This apprenticeship will suit someone who is communicative, punctual, reliable, diligent, respectful and who acts with integrity towards clients, peers and colleagues. They must also display a willingness to learn new skills, solve problems and work as part of a team.

Apprentices are paid a salary and off-the-job education is government-funded. Learning will take place in the company where apprentices will work four days per week and attend college one day per week.  

Learners who successfully complete the apprenticeship will be eligible to apply for a licence from the Property Service Regulatory Authority (PSRA).

Entry requirements are a Minimum of 5 Passes (O6/H7) in Leaving Certificate or equivalent. OR - Full QQI (level 5 or 6) Business award or equivalent. OR - Those seeking to use experiential learning to access the programme through a structured interview process.
