Realist

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

100 jobs Announced for Markforged's New European Headquarters in Dublin

100 jobs Announced for Markforged's New European Headquarters in Dublin
As part of their global expansion strategy, Markforged has announced 100 jobs for its new European headquarters, which will be located in Dublin. The 3D printer manufacturer will be opening the European headquarters with support from the Irish government through IDA Ireland.

The Dublin office is set to be the company's first international office and will be the base of its European operations. It will function as a key gateway to the EMEA market while also assisting the US office in meeting the growing demand for affordable 3D printing machines.

Heather Humphreys, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, expressed her enthusiasm for Markforged's expansion, noting the widespread presence of high-tech companies in Dublin as a means of attracting a wider range of specialist companies like Markforged. Similarly, Martin Shanahan, CEO of IDA Ireland, labelled Markforged's decision as confirmation of Ireland's reputation as a leading location for innovative companies.

Markforged is looking to recruit top technical talent in Dublin. The 100 new roles will range across all functions and further information can be found on the company's careers page here.
