Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their most productive under supervisors who give clear guidelines and while performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.

They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. Indeed to create 600 jobs at new Dublin HQ

Online job search giant Indeed has announced that it is creating 600 jobs at its new EMEA HQ, at Capital Dock in Dublin. Over the next five years, the company will recruit for the roles to serve its growing business needs as it continues to expand, both in Ireland and internationally. Indeed first came to Ireland in 2012 and began with just three employees, but these new roles will bring the company’s headcount up to 1,600.

Indeed CEO, Chris Hyams, remarked on the rapid growth the company has experienced in Ireland and has attributed its success to the abundance of talented staff in the country. The company’s commitment to Ireland is further evidenced by its pledge to support Olympic hopefuls aiming to represent Team Ireland at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

The announcement has been welcomed by Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys, who labelled the company’s decision as a “real vote of confidence in Ireland as a place to do business”. Martin Shanahan, CEO of IDA Ireland, echoed Chris Hyams statement regarding the phenomenal growth Indeed has experienced in Ireland and recognised the company’s commitment to the country with its impressive new EMEA HQ.

As the world’s largest jobsite, Indeed has almost 9,000 employees in 29 locations across the globe, who facilitate the online job search of more than 250 million people per month. The new roles in the Capital Dock HQ will range across a number of areas, including marketing, finance, strategy, operations, sales, client services, human resources, and business development. Future employees will enjoy a company culture which prioritises employee wellness and satisfaction, with benefits including flexible annual leave, health insurance, complimentary meals and snacks, social events, and fitness programmes.
