Realist

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Natus Medical Inc. announces 25 jobs for new Galway distribution centre

Natus Medical Incorporated has announced that it will create 25 jobs at its new distribution centre in Gort, Co. Galway. The new distribution centre, located in the IDA Business Park, is comprised of a 22,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, bringing the total reach of Natus' site in the park to over 66,000 square feet.

The new distribution centre is the result of a multi-million euro investment and, while there will initially be 25 new jobs at the facility, the company plans to add a further 50 roles over the next three years, which would bring the company's headcount in Gort to 200.

The new roles will be essential in supporting the facility's expansion over the next few months. The roles will range across a number of areas and will offer interdepartmental support within the business, from manufacturing and regulatory affairs to customer service and finance responsibilities.

CEO of Natus Medical Incorporated, Jonathan Kennedy, said that the advanced infrastructure and top-level talent that Gort offers will help the company to grow in the region. Minister of State for Natural Resources, Community Affairs and Digital Development, Sean Canney TD, expressed his enthusiasm for Natus' expansion and said that the new jobs in the area "will be of substantial benefit to the local economy." Mary Buckley, IDA Ireland Executive Director reaffirmed the potential for global companies to succeed in regional locations, with Natus' Gort facility being a prominent example.
