Welcome to CareersPortal for students in Further and Higher Education.

From here, you can access a range of resources designed to assist you with making sound, informed decisions about your career direction.

As you progress through college, you change and grow and become more aware of what life has to offer. You may be more focused on what direction to take your career, or you may just as easily be less certain.

If you are unsure, it's worth visiting the Career Exploration area and completing our Interest Test. There are also a range of self-assessment exercises that you can complete.

You can explore career sectors, or listen to and watch career videos of people in a wide variety of occupations talking about their job, the route they took to get into that job, day-to-day worklife, among other insights.

If you are nearing completion of your studies, and are preparing to enter the workforce, then follow the Jobs and Work link to find jobs that are available to third level graduates. In this area you will find the most comprehensive list of links to job sites specifically aimed at recruiting graduates.

You can also take a look at our Labour Market section to get information on the current trends in the Irish labour market and the jobs that are in demand.

If you know what you want and are getting ready to start applying for jobs, visit our CV & Applications area for help with your CV, Cover Letters, and Job Applications.

If you want to continue your studies to Postgraduate level, then go to our section on Postgrad Study. This area will brief you on the various study options available and provide links to finding courses that may suit you.
