What are your interests?

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Why us?

We are a small college where class sizes are kept small so that all students can receive the individual attention that they deserve so that they can reach their full potential.

We are situated only 18 miles from Limerick City Centre so we have a diverse range of students from the country and the city. Our Sports Courses are unique to all other PLC Colleges in the Province as they are held predominately in University of Limerick Arena. These State of the Art facilities such as the 50m Olympic size pool swimming pool, weights room, exercise studio are all central to the modules offered on all our sports courses.

We have links with 3rd level colleges nationwide where you can progress your education even further. Through our courses you could access courses in Nursing( Nursing Studies), PE Teaching( Sport, Recreation and Exercise), Veterinary Nurse(Animal Science) and many more.

Work Experience is a key component on each course. This allows the student to gain valuable practical knowledge which is hugely beneficial and also make them more employable. Last year up to 35% of our students achieved full time employment after graduating because they had completed their work experience with that employer who were so impressed with their work ethic, they offered the full time employment.

We have a diverse community of students as their age range from 18 years to mature students.
