What are your interests?



The Linguistic's interests are usually focused on ideas and information exchange. They tend to like reading a lot, and enjoy discussion about what has been said. Some will want to write about their own ideas and may follow a path towards journalism, story writing or editing. Others will develop skills in other languages, perhaps finding work as a translator or interpreter. Most Linguistic types will enjoy the opportunity to teach or instruct people in a topic they are interested in.

The Taster Sessions on our MIC Campus, Limerick, are open to transition years, fifth years and leaving certificate students. The event will provide you with a great opportunity to attend a taster lecture, tour the campus and get a flavour of college life at MIC, thus giving you greater insight when making your decision on what undergraduate programmes to include on your CAO application form. Attendance is by registration only. spaces are limited and available only on a first-come first served basis. Please note that attendees will only be able to attend a Taster Session on one MIC programme on the day. Registration will open in February 2019.
