BA Visual Culture Taster Day

<p>Many of you will already be certain that you would like to study Visual Culture with us at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD): others will be considering whether Visual Culture is right for you.</p>
<p>Either way, we would like to invite you to an open session at the college. You will have a chance to participate in a taster lecture, to meet current students, and to tour the facilities including the Edward Murphy Library, Ireland’s leading specialist art and design library.</p>
<p>NCAD has a special atmosphere. Based on our campus in the Liberties in Central Dublin, <em>Visual Culture </em>students study the history and contemporary practice of art and design - including fashion and mass media - in the company of the next generation of practicing artist and designers. Our open morning will give you a chance to see the college in action. </p>
<p>The open morning will take place at 12 midday on Wednesday 20th February 2019 (room HCH203). The talk and tour will last c. 90 mins and refreshments will be provided.</p>

Workshops for Prospective Media Students

DCU Accommodation Applications Open for 1st Years

<p>The DCU accommodation application process for incoming first years 2019/2020 will open on February 27th 2019 at 11.00am.</p>
<p><strong>Application Process:</strong> </p>
<p>During the application dates – applicants must set up their profile and pay a non-refundable administration fee of €50.00 to apply. This can be done by visiting <a href="http://www.dcuaccommodation.ie">www.dcuaccommodation.ie</a> on the above application dates.</p>
<p><em><strong>Allocation Process: </strong></em></p>
<p>After the application process closes DCU accommodation will perform a random lottery on Monday 1st of April where all those successful in securing DCU accommodation get a booking code to log into the system and continue their application all the way to booking a room.</p>
<p>Applicants will have the ability to self-select a room, sign the Terms & Conditions and pay a booking deposit of €250.00 to secure the room. If the applicant pays and cancels prior to semester one starting, the €250.00 is refunded in full. </p>

Postgraduate Open Day

Applications are now open for Taught Postgraduate Programmes.<br /><br />
<p>Institute of Technology Carlow has a range of high quality postgraduate programmes that offer suitably qualified primary degree holders (NFQ level 8) exciting opportunities to progress to higher awards (Higher Diploma, Masters and Doctoral degrees). These opportunities may be undertaken by research and thesis, or through taught programmes. Programmes are available in full-time and/or part-time modes across our three main campuses in Carlow, Wexford and Wicklow. </p>
Our postgraduate open day is being held on Wednesday 27th February from 11pm - 3pm. <br /><br />
