CIT holds a Mathematics examination for applicants who have expressed an interest in any of its programmes that require certain minimum levels of performance in Mathematics. The purpose of this examination is to provide such applicants with a “second chance” opportunity to achieve these minimum Mathematics entry requirements.

The Admissions office has no further information about the Maths Exam than is already provided below, so we kindly ask that you read the information carefully.

The CIT Mathematics Examination 2018 will take place on Tuesday 21st August 2018 in the Melbourn Exam Hall (map here).

Results will be emailed on 28th August, and eligible applicants will receive an offer in Round 2.


Applications open from 1pm 16th August, and closed at 1pm on Monday 20th August 2018, after which an email will be sent to applicants with further instructions and directions to the exam venue.
