Realist?
Realist
Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Ambition Beyond Sport

IT Sligo is now inviting applications for the The AbbVie Sports Scholarship and Internship Programme 2017/18.

This new and unique Scholarship opportunity will see the global biopharmaceutical company sponsor two Elite Level Sports Scholarships, each valued at €2000. Students will also be eligible for a paid internship with AbbVie and will receive support and mentoring towards a longer-term talent and career recruitment programme.

Please note that preference will be given students who are/will be taking IT Sligo courses in the following areas:

  • B Eng in Precision Engineering & Design
  • BSc Honours in Medical Biotechnology
  • BSc in Biomedical Science
  • Higher Certificate in Precision Engineering & Design
  • Higher Certificate in Mechatronics.
