Realist

Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Part-time Courses at Pearse College

Posted on August 14, 2019

Our part-time FLEXI BTEI programme is available free of charge to those in receipt of a social welfare payment and/or with a current medical card. This is a fresh new approach, based on a flexible menu that allows you to pick and choose the courses that you want from a list of options.

You can choose to study 1 module and attend 1 afternoon/morning per week or you can do 2, 3 or 4 modules at a time. You can choose to enrol in modules from the same general area or you could choose from a mixture of sectors.

Particularly popular is our FLEXIs in Early Childhood Education with QQI accredited modules in Special Needs Assistance (Level 6), Early Childhood Curriculum (Level 6) and Irish for PreSchool Services (Level 5).
