Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their best operating under supervisors who give clear guidelines, and performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.

They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.

IT staff welcome colleague with the ‘Liam McCarthy’ Cup to the launch of the new academic year

LIT staff member Paul Browne received a standing ovation from his colleagues on his arrival to the Moylish, Limerick campus on September 3rd as he was accompanied by a special guest in the form of the ‘Liam McCarthy’ Cup following Limerick’s recent All Ireland win following a 45 year wait!

Launching a new academic year at LIT President Vincent Cunnane congratulated Paul and his team mates - among them LIT students and graduates on their fantastic achievement. Unfortunately, Paul was injured for the final but his dedication to Limerick hurling over the last number of years was appreciated and acknowledged by his colleagues.
