Administrative

Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their best operating under supervisors who give clear guidelines, and performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.

They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.

Course changes for 2019/2020

Posted on September 19, 2018

TR001 Two Subject Moderatorship (TSM) has been replaced by Joint Honours/Modern Languages. There is no longer an overall subject combination table included in the prospectus. Instead, for each joint honours subject, the list of compatible subject combinations is included within that subject entry in the prospectus, along with the relevant CAO code for that combination, as per the extract below.

  • Religion (TR041) replaces World Religions and Theology (TR008) and Catholic Theological Studies (TR031)
  • The title of the Classics (TR021) course has been changed to Classics, Ancient History and Archaeology.
  • In the Joint Honours course Jewish and Islamic Civilisations has been re-named Middle Eastern, Jewish and Islamic Civilisations.
