They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.

CAO Applications are now open for all BIMM Dublin courses, so apply now to join us in the 2019/2020 academic year!

Here at BIMM Dublin we offer a four-year, full time Level 8 BA(Hons) in Commercial Modern Music, where students can choose to specialise in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals or Songwriting. If you’re interested in studying part-time, our one-year Level 6 CPD Diploma in Professional Musicianship also allows you develop your skills in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals or Songwriting.

Both our BA (Hons) in Commercial Modern Music and CPD Diploma in Professional Musicianship are validated by Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT)who are ranked in the top 100 university-level institutions globally under 50 years old (Times Higher Education World University Rankings).

BIMM Dublin, now in its eight year of teaching, was the first college in Ireland to offer a degree level course in modern music. In 2018 we expanded our course opportunities, introducing two new part-time diplomas in Music Business and Music and Audio Production – for the aspiring producers and music industry professionals.

Life at BIMM in Dublin couldn’t be more exciting! Our tutors are experienced music industry professionals, bringing real word expertise and knowledge directly to the classroom. Their expertise range from songwriting , music production and performance to music publishing and all things music business related. Situated in the heart of Dublin’s Liberties , our two city centre campuses are a hub of artistry and creativity where students enjoy access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment at our, as well as opportunities to perform at amazing venues like The Workman’s Club and Whelan’s throughout the course.

As well as this, our students get direct access to guest masterclasses from those at the top of their game, including John Grant, Josh Homme, The Edge, Thurston Moore, Hozier, Imelda May and many more.

The deadline for application to the BA (Hons) in Commercial Modern Music degree programme is February 1st through the CAO system using the course code DT506. Applications for the CPD Diploma in Professional Musicianship, BIMM Dublin Diploma in Music Business and BIMM Dublin Music and Audio Production are made directly to the college.
