Architectural Technology and Design Traineeship
CMETB in partnership with Entekra are delighted to announce the completion of QQI Level 5 Architectural Technology and Computer Aided Design at Monaghan Institute with 80% of learners interviewed taking up employment with the company.
CMETB Traineeship programmes are co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund as part of the ESF Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning 2014-2020.
Entekra is a design, engineering and manufacturing company that provides a fully integrated off-site solution (FIOSS™) for both residential and commercial construction in the US market. The company’s main design and engineering department is based at its European Headquarters, located in Monaghan town.
The company’s manufacturing base is located in Northern California, where they are currently building a second large scale fully automated manufacturing facility, which will be operational in Mid-2019
A Traineeship is an occupational skills development training programme that is tailored to the identified needs of a specific industry sector or sub-sector and leads to nationally recognised qualifications.
This Traineeship incorporated a huge element of work-based learning within Entekra where a designated supervisor supported the learner during the work placements. The work-based learning phase provides a direct entry route to employment and currently trainees are attending interviews with Entekra to secure available positions.
CMETB are now recruiting for 2019 Traineeship, QQI Level 6 in Advanced Certificate in Architectural Technology and Design. Applications are welcome from those in existing employment who are seeking to upskill or re-skill in this industry. Applicants may be eligible for a training, travel and meal allowance or a company bursary.
Please come to the information session in Entekra’s European Head Quarters on Thursday 26th June @ 6:30pm. For further information and to request an application form please contact Michelle Baker on 049 4353924 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or download application form from www.monaghaninstitute.ie/courses.
