What are your interests?

Social?

Social

The Social person's interests focus on interacting with the people in their environment. In all cases, the Social person enjoys the personal contact with other people in preference to the impersonal dealings with things, data and ideas found in other groups.

Many will seek out positions where there is direct contact with the public in some advisory role, whether a receptionist or a counsellor. Social people are motivated by an interest in different types of people and like diversity in their work environments. Many are drawn towards careers in the caring professions and social welfare area, whilst others prefer teaching and other 'informing' roles.

Interviews held daily at Whitehall College for Courses

Posted on September 6, 2019

WHITEHALL COLLEGE OF FURTHER EDUCATION are holding interviews daily for courses starting September 2019.  We have had great feedback from our graduates in relation to the value of doing a course in a Further Education College and using it as a progression route to third level.

Our long established courses in Business and Finance, Nutrition and Dietetics, Computer Systems and Networks, Social Science, Nursing Studies and ECCE are always popular with those looking for progress routes.  While our Office/Legal and Health Administration courses are aimed at those looking to develop excellent skills for employment.

We also offer English Language courses Levels 3 to 6.  Our Education and Training course gives learners the best of both worlds as they spend one day a week in DCU completing two first year modules on the Education and Training Degree course and have direct entry opportunities to the Degree course in DCU after their year in Whitehall College.

Our big news this month is that Ian Maher graduate from our Art and Sculpture course has been shortlisted for the Zurich National Portrait Award. The exhibition will be taking place in the National Gallery from the 5th of October to 12th January, then traveling to the Crawford Gallery in Cork for a further run.

See our full range of courses on our website whitehallcollege.com and feel free to email siobhan.ocarroll@whitehallcollege.com with any course questions.
