Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their most productive under supervisors who give clear guidelines and while performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.

They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.

NEW Assembly Technician Traineeship

A new Traineeship is planned for September 2015 in conjuction with Combilift, local employers and Monaghan Institute!

The course will train people as electrical/mechanical fitters. Applicants will be expected to have good mechanical ability and possibly leaving cert standard of education.

Modules include:

  • Engineering health and safety
  • Engineering principles
  • Detailed fitting of Materials
  • Principles of engineering maintenance, installation and commissioning
  • Maintenance of hydraulic systems
  • Mechatronics systems principles and fault finding
  • Principles of Auto Electrics

This is a 12 month course. Applicants must be 17 or over and will be expected to have good mechanical ability and possibly leaving cert standard of education.

An Information Night is due to take place in The Garage Theatre, Monaghan on Tuesday June 23rd at 7 pm.
