Student Experiences at the University of Limerick

Posted on November 14, 2017

The years students spend in college anticipate to be some of the best years of their lives. Working hard every day to achieve a quality degree is important however the University of Limerick recognises the need for students to have an outlet by which they can meet new people, experience new things and of course, have fun! In the last month alone two large events have taken place at the University aiming to provide a well-rounded and enlightening student experience.

SoUL Arts Festival

The soUL Arts Festival is a fun and engaging event organised by the Societies of UL and the UL Arts office. The week-long festival is filled with activities to suit every student. From the comedy night organised by the Comedy Society to the Law Societies assassin game, the week enables students to gain knowledge on the large number of societies offered by the University and gain insights into the activities of the society itself.  Why not take a look at the full week’s itinerary on the SoUL Arts facebook page? https://www.facebook.com/SOULARTSFEST/

ULSU Halloween Ball 2017

This year the students union organised a Halloween event for students. The ULSU Halloween Ball took place on Halloween night and featured acts including Sean Kingston and Chasing Abbey.

Feature USP

The International Education Division takes responsibility for coordinating all international programmes including, study abroad, Erasmus and international exchange. The Erasmus programme has exchange agreements with over 300 higher education institutions in Europe.  Outside of Europe students have the ability to travel to institutions in locations such as China, Canada, Australia and the USA.
