Administrative
Administrative people are interested in work that offers security and a sense of being part of a larger process. They may be at their best operating under supervisors who give clear guidelines, and performing routine tasks in a methodical and reliable way.

They tend to enjoy clerical and most forms of office work, where they perform essential administrative duties. They often form the backbone of large and small organisations alike. They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. They usually like routine work hours and prefer comfortable indoor workplaces.

We’re hosting a ‘College Information Evening’ on Wednesday 28th June, from 5pm – 8pm. This event comes at a very important time in the CAO calendar just before the final CAO ‘Change of Mind’ final deadline (July 1st) and will be your last opportunity to:

  • Get any final information on courses – for example, what are the potential career paths, do you have the correct entry requirements or do you need Garda Vetting
  • Find out about the CAO offer stage, the acceptance process and what happens next
  • Hear tips on how to afford college – what documentation is required to apply for grants (SUSI), what fees need to be paid and when
  • Find out about savings and loan advice from AIB, in case you don’t qualify for a grant
