At Maynooth, we offer a unique opportunity to study Criminology as part of a broad based Arts degree. No other University in the Republic of Ireland offers the opportunity to study Criminology as part of your Arts programme, or as part of a core law degree (MH502 LWC).
You will gain perspectives from experts on explanations for criminal behaviour, criminological theory, the operation of the criminal justice system, the psychology of crime, the anthropology of crime, crime and economics and more. Choose Criminology in combination with other Arts subjects (including Law) in first year, and then choose to continue with Criminology in second and third year.
