3rd level Graduates are qualified for a wide range of occupations, and their education prepares them for roles involving specific skills, and for coordinating, supervising, managing, or training others. Examples include accountants, sales managers, computer programmers, teachers, chemists, environmental engineers, criminal investigators, and financial analysts.

This subject is taken as one of three to be studied; of twenty-three on offer for the first year. One of the three is usually dropped when the second year begins. Study the civilisation of the Celts through the medium of English. Subject includes such aspects as the history and archaeology of the early Celts, Celtic religion and mythology, and Celtic literature.

As part of an Arts degree, this is one of four subjects you choose from a menu of subjects in first year. You continue with two of your chosen First Year subjects in second and third year. You may have an option to spend an additional year studying abroad.
