Social
The Social person's interests focus on some aspect of those people in their environment. In all cases the social person enjoys the personal contact of other people in preference to the impersonal dealings with things, data and ideas found in other groups.

Many will seek out positions where there is direct contact with the public in some advisory role, whether a receptionist or a counsellor. Social people are motivated by an interest in different types of people, and like diversity in their work environments. Many are drawn towards careers in the caring professions and social welfare area, whilst others prefer teaching and other 'informing' roles.

Course Description

This course is suitable for those who wish to use advanced business and computer skills in a twenty-first century work environment. It is also suitable for those who wish to progress to higher level studies. It is also an ideal preparation for those who wish to start their own business or those who wish to up-skill or retrain for a new career and a fresh start. With the aim of maximising their future employability, students will be trained to the highest level in aspects of Microsoft Office, desktop publishing, web design, business management, computerised bookkeeping and payroll. The latest software is used on this course including Microsoft Office Suite 2013, Adobe CC Products, Sage 50 and Windows.
