Course Description

This course will be an ideal progression for students who have completed a level 5 in Sports and recreation. Courses that are covered on this programme include Sports Industry Practice, Communications, work Experience, Rugby, Soccer and Gaelic Coaching, Exercise and Fitness, Sports Nutrition and Event Management.

What Advanced certificate in Sports and Recreation? 

This course will be an ideal progression for students who have completed a level 5 in Sports and recreation. This level 6 course will provide successful graduates the opportunity to seek employment in the sport and leisure industry, personal training and sports development offices. Graduates can work within sports clubs, leisure centres, gyms, alternative therapy clinics, or health centres.

Graduates may also be eligible to apply for further education courses such as DIT, IT Blanchardstown and Dundalk IT to study degree programmes in Leisure Management, Sports Management and Coaching and Health and Physical Activity. Courses that are covered on this programme include Sports Industry Practice, Communications, work Experience, Rugby, Soccer and Gaelic Coaching, Exercise and Fitness, Sports Nutrition and Event Management.

What will you Study?
