You need experience in the accounting function for this particular job, especially financial accounting. You have to be able to work closely with others in a team and within cross funtional teams. You need to be qualified as an accountant. and to have to have numerical skills.

They may be drawn towards the traditional artistic pursuits such as painting, sculpture, singing, or music. Or they may show more interest in design, such as architecture, animation, or craft areas, such as pottery and ceramics.

Creative people use their personal understanding of people and the world they live in to guide their work. Creative people like to work in unstructured workplaces, enjoy taking risks and prefer a minimum of routine.

Course Description

This course is aimed at learners who wish to gain an initial qualification in one of the many areas of the Tourism industry. The Institute has built extensive links with the Tourism Industry and a work experience placement is also completed by learners. In addition to the QQI/FETAC Award, this course offers practical industry based qualifications in Amadeus/Galileo, a Holiday Representative Award and a Package Holiday Booking System Qualification, all certified by The International Academy of Travel. Learners undertake a wide range of site visits and tours during the year. Guest speakers may visit the Institute. The Course offers a wide variety of modules and students have a range of potential career and further study options after successful completion of the course. Many of our recent students have progressed to degrees in Tourism, Event Management and Hospitality Management.
