My advice would be that if you are not afraid of hard work that construction can be a very rewarding industry. It is a constantly changing industry which is interesting to work in.

To be a QS the main values would be to be interested in dealing with financial data and be happy to work as part of a team. Having an interest in construction generally outside of the commercials will also help as it keeps you interested in the projects you are working on apart from what they cost.

They may prefer thought to action, and enjoy the challenge of solving problems with clever technology. They will often follow the latest developments in their chosen field, and prefer mentally stimulating environments.

Course Description

This course will enable students to gain the knowledge, experience and design skills required to work in the digital design industry.

Graphic and web design is the foundation of the multimedia industry which is at the forefront of todays technological industry. Companies see the importance of marketing and branding be it in printable or digital form. Social Media has become certain companys main form of advertising and promotion which requires design elements and animated interaction to attract potential markets and retain the interest of existing clients. Motion graphics and virtual reality features are todays fundamental digital effects that can transform a companys branding successfully.
