You need to work with people in the industry as knowledge is everything  - where to buy, who from, when etc. Health and safety courses and a pleasant manner and drive are also important.

Linguistic?
Linguistic
The Linguistic's interests are usually focused on ideas and information exchange. They tend to like reading a lot, and enjoy discussion about what has been said. Some will want to write about their own ideas and may follow a path towards journalism, or story writing or editing. Others will develop skills in other languages, perhaps finding work as a translator or interpreter. Most Linguistic types will enjoy the opportunity to teach or instruct people in a topic they are interested in.

Course Description

These courses are designed to equip learners with the skills and the knowledge to work in a variety of areas within the Animal Care sector or to progress to Higher Education through the Higher Education Links Scheme.

Learners will study core areas of Animal Care and are enabled to put theory into practice through experiential learning in a fully equipped Animal Care suite. These courses are delivered by specialists who are currently practising within the profession. Regular field trips and the handling of a wide variety of animals are key features of this course.
