The Social person's interests focus on some aspect of those people in their environment. In all cases the social person enjoys the personal contact of other people in preference to the impersonal dealings with things, data and ideas found in other groups.

Many will seek out positions where there is direct contact with the public in some advisory role, whether a receptionist or a counsellor. Social people are motivated by an interest in different types of people, and like diversity in their work environments. Many are drawn towards careers in the caring professions and social welfare area, whilst others prefer teaching and other 'informing' roles.

Course Description

Drawing as a means of inquiry is essential for artists and designers as a research and exploratory tool. This course is designed to develop these skills at an advanced level. Artists, Designers, Teachers, Architects, Archaeologists, Engineers will find that this course enhances their existing professional experience and enables progression to further qualifications.

This course may enhance existing experience in art, design or other areas and enables progression to further qualifications. This course is also very useful for those who wish to re-enter a third level course after a break in study. Students who complete this course are eligible to apply to year two of a Degree programme in art or design third level, higher education colleges, subject to availability of places.
