Realists are usually interested in 'things' - such as buildings, mechanics, equipment, tools, electronics etc. Their primary focus is dealing with these - as in building, fixing, operating or designing them. Involvement in these areas leads to high manual skills, or a fine aptitude for practical design - as found in the various forms of engineering.

Realists like to find practical solutions to problems using tools, technology and skilled work. Realists usually prefer to be active in their work environment, often do most of their work alone, and enjoy taking decisive action with a minimum amount of discussion and paperwork.

Course Description

This course provides a wide range of practical skills based classes in computer applications and digital information processing. All jobs today demand high levels of proficiency in a wide range of computer applications. These include MS Word, Excel, Access and Microsoft Office Specialist. Core to the course is training in MS Office Cloud Apps. Social Media platforms & the internet are no longer the preserve of entertainment and casual chat but are essential tools for all job seekers in todays competitive working environment. Learning to use Outlook not just to send email but to organise contacts and schedule meetings is also included. This course aims to meet the needs of new job seekers as well as mature students wishing to retrain by providing them with the relevant skills and confidence for a changing work place.
