Social 
The Social person's interests focus on some aspect of those people in their environment. In all cases the social person enjoys the personal contact of other people in preference to the impersonal dealings with things, data and ideas found in other groups.

Many will seek out positions where there is direct contact with the public in some advisory role, whether a receptionist or a counsellor. Social people are motivated by an interest in different types of people, and like diversity in their work environments. Many are drawn towards careers in the caring professions and social welfare area, whilst others prefer teaching and other 'informing' roles.

Course Description

This course focuses on the necessary skills required for all of the sectors in the Travel and Tourism industry. During this course the student will develop the Training skills needed in both practical and theoretical areas, including travel agency, airline crew and reception, guiding, tour repping and other areas of the tourism and travel industry, including cruise liners. These skills acquired on the course are required in order to succeed in these exciting Tourism Sectors.

The course is designed to provide students with the up-to-date IT skills needed and students work at their own designated work station. Students can also avail of an opportunity to travel overseas on the course as part of work placement and in conjunction with the European Partnership scheme run in the College.
