Engineering in general is an extremely broad career and can lead to you many different applications and many different parts of the world. Itís also a career which can give you a set of skills highly adaptable to other careers. In Intel the same applies. Day to day the job changes so being able to change with the job is important. Make sure you are adaptable and can apply your skills in many different situations.

Enterprising
Enterprising people like situations that involve using resources for personal or corporate economic gain. Such people may have an opportunistic frame of mind, and like commerce, trade and making deals. Some are drawn to sales and marketing occupations. Many will eventually end up owning their own business, or managing a section in larger organisations. They tend to be very goal-oriented, and work best when focused on a target. Some have an entrepreneurial inclination.

Course Description

This intensive portfolio course provides a strong grounding in drawing and design skills for entry into third level institutions. Learners are introduced to the textiles and fashion disciplines of combined materials, embroidery, garment construction and pattern drafting. Work experience forms a vital link with the fashion industry with many learners finding employment from their placement.

What will you Study?

This intensive portfolio course provides the learner with a strong grounding in drawing and design skills for entry into third-level institutions. Learners are introduced to the textiles and fashion disciplines of combined materials, embroidery, garment construction and pattern drafting. Learners will be given the opportunity to participate in local cultural festivals, and the Temple Bar Festival. Past students have linked with the Crafts Council of Ireland and assisted as stylists in fashion shows.
