Course Description

This award will equip the learner with the necessary knowledge, skills and competence to undertake supervisory roles in the caring environment. The course is structured to provide students with a high standard of training and assessment leading to a recognised qualification for those pursuing a career in Health Services Supervisory Management or progress to higher education and training.

This course equips participants with the skills to manage themselves, their work and the people they work with more effectively. It also offers a sound introduction to management in the health services for those wishing to build upon their experience and to gain a formal qualification in management.
