Creative people are drawn to careers and activities that enable them to take responsibility for the design, layout or sensory impact of something (visual, auditory etc). They may be atrracted to the traditional artistic pursuits such as painting, sculpture, singing, or music. Or they may show more interest in design activities, such as architecture, animation, or craft areas, such as pottery and ceramics.

Creative people use their personal understanding of people and the world they live in to guide their work. Creative people like to work in unstructured workplaces, enjoy taking risks and prefer a minimum of routine.

MyFuture+ is a newly developed career learning, development and management tool for Adults. Its supports adult guidance practitioners to support their clients and learners to learn about themeselves in realation to career and education and access available options. 

It has been developed in critical collaboration with representatives from key public service organisations and services that support adult learners and jobseekers in their career management decisions. Individuals can access their unique career file from any mobile device. Guidance Practitioners  can then view and track their clients and learner career information instantly.

The NCGE Adult Guidance Handbook is a web based resource funded by the Department of Education and Skills.

It was first developed by NCGE in collaboration with the Adult Educational Guidance Services in 2010. In September 2014, the NCGE Adult Guidance Handbook incorporated new additional materials and was re-launched for the adult guidance community.
